SEMA Cares Committee
The SEMA Cares Committee, established by the SEMA Board of Directors in
2007, aims to bring the voice and resources of the SEMA community together to
make a positive difference in the lives of others.
The SEMA Cares Committee fundraising efforts include the SEMA Cares Pinewood Drag Races at the SEMA
Installation Banquet & Gala Fundraiser, part of SEMA Leadership Days;
custom industry-built vehicles such as the WD-40/SEMA
Cares Challenger unveiled at the
2011 SEMA Show and auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Show and
Auction for $115,000; as well as some products sold at auction on eBay Motors.
SEMA Cares fundraising efforts benefit Childhelp an organization which provides service
for neglected and abused children, and Victory
Junction Camp which
provides life-changing camping experiences for disabled and chronically ill
children.
